sierra lupine sunday

Sierra Lupine is here!

There's a shawl size.

And a scarf size.

The scarf is done from lovely Iridaceae Colorworks sock yarn (Cypella) in Irisberry.

And the stole is done in scrumptious Cassiopeiae Lace yarn in an incredible dusky lavender.

I was in such a purple mood.

With some beads thrown in.

And this was the perfect medicine.

Such an enjoyable knit!

I loved every minute of it.

And I am loving wearing them...

in the few moments of chill throughout this heatwave.

And with that?

The last firework of the week, and the Home Is Where the Heart Is eBook. :)

desert peach saturday

Ready for another little firework?

Desert Peach.

Perfect with cowboy boots.

But really...what isn't?

There's lace.

Picots.

And gorgeous Swan's Island fingering weight yarn.

I'm loving this one.

It's feather light.

Desert Peach, shawl #7 from my Home is Where the Heart Is collection!

blackjack friday

Because diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Right?

Marilyn said so. ;)

And so did Carol and Miss Piggy.

I prefer my diamonds made out of cashmere.

From ArtYarns.

Sumptuous.

Decadent.

Lovely. Perfect for a night out. Blackjack: shawl #6 from Home is Where the Heart Is!

And we're not quite finished yet.....

bestie thursday

Because you know you want to knit one for a friend.

Don't you?

Just about 20 yards or so.

Just about 20 minutes from start to finish.

A special button or bead.

And a big hug for a friend.

These are knit from hemp yarn.

My test knitters used silk and linen.

What will you use?

This is a little extra from my Home is Where the Heart Is eBook.

Now...back to work for me.

3 color wednesday

It's about time I released this addendum to Carson, don't you think?

If you were at Stitches West this year, you may have seen it in person.

It glows! Knit in gorgeous A Verb for Keeping Warm Annapurna and resident in their Oakland shop. Yummy!

Ready for more fireworks this week? :)

river walk tuesday

Shawl #5 is here!

Meet River Walk.

Made with two colors of amazingly gorgeous Shalimar Breathless.

I really liked the yarn in the skein.

But knitting with it was an even bigger pleasure.

And then I blocked it and fell head over heels in love.

Lovely drape.

Beautiful color.

Yum.

Yarn available at Jimmy Beans!

And in answer to your previous questions...yes! I got a hair cut. Thanks so much for the kind comments! :)
