Slowly but surely... It's too big now to pin the whole thing out, so we are just looking at one side as it grows from the center panel. I cannot wait to block it and see how it looks! :)
I want to pat and stroke the shinyness of it. I am also hideously afraid of giant lace projects. I am convinced that all serious lace knitters must have made a pact with a devil to create such intricate designs---with mistakes!
That's so beautiful. I can't wait for the pattern to be available. Well, obviously, I can 'cause I've already got an acre of knitting on the needles as it is. But that don't stop the want.
This looks absolutely wonderful. Now I don't know whether to start the Muir from Knitty or hold out for this one! :) Am very partial to the Faroese style myself.
