About Me
- Name: Romi
- Location: Beautiful Northern Nevada, United States
I've always loved being crafty, but never imagined I could be lucky enough to do it for a living until I started Designs by Romi in 2005 after getting hooked on lace knitting. Things grew from there, and these days I'm teaching and designing knitwear - especially shawls! - as well. I owe the internet knitting community a debt of gratitude for making it possible for me to fondle yarn, fiber and beads incessantly, and not feel guilty about it!

Wow, that looks wonderful! And I've just started Muir #2... I suppose that means a triangular Muir #3?
I want to pat and stroke the shinyness of it. I am also hideously afraid of giant lace projects. I am convinced that all serious lace knitters must have made a pact with a devil to create such intricate designs---with mistakes!
Absolutely lovely -- I can't wait to see it finished.
(And thanks for the blog comment :o) )
That's so beautiful. I can't wait for the pattern to be available. Well, obviously, I can 'cause I've already got an acre of knitting on the needles as it is. But that don't stop the want.
Delicate, soft, lovely--it's STUNNING! And would go perfectly with a silver shawl pin with, say, an amethyst.
Oh, beautiful!
Rosemary- That's so pretty.
Gawgus, Miss R., and growing so quickly!
OMG I LOVE IT!
This looks absolutely wonderful. Now I don't know whether to start the Muir from Knitty or hold out for this one! :) Am very partial to the Faroese style myself.
:-)
