monday's musing

"All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own." - Edwin Markham

Not that it has anything to do with the above quote, but my kitty is missing. We're all hoping hoping hoping that she isn't coyote food, even though she's a mohair shawl-eating kitty.

Keep fingers crossed for her, please?

Have a great week!

My kitty was pretty new to me when she went missing. I still hadn't given her a name! I recalled hearing coyotes near the house in the middle of the night. I was pretty sure she was a goner. After a couple of days, I had pretty much given up hope. I used to say "Where's your noodles?" to my daughter when she would do something foolish and look around like I was searching for them. I decided if my cat came back I would call her Noodles for outsmarting the coyotes. She came back the next day. I'm pretty sure she spent the missing days up in a tree. She was skittish for some time when hearing coyotes. Her name is Esther Nudelman. Don't give up hope!!

Have you checked up in the trees in the area? We've found friends' cats before by walking around calling them and finally hearing a little meow up in a tree. Often they can get stuck up there and can't get down. Hoping she gets home safe and sound!!

Hoping for the best for you and your kitty.

One of my sister's cats went missing when they moved to a new house. It turned out he went exploring when they were replacing the 2nd floor bathtub, got into the walls, and crawled down between the ceiling and the floor. After two or three days, they finally located the meowing in a closet and had to cut a hole in the ceiling to get him out. None the worse for wear, fortunately. The hole is now disguised by a vent cover.

I will send kitty come home thoughts out for you. ((hugs))
