of leaf and wave

Cushy garter stitch.

 A feast for the senses.

Being test knit right now.
The second shawl from my "Home is Where the Heart Is" eBook.
I know many of you have been to the area inspired by this design.

Terry said it first in my Ravelry forum: "Looks like Lake Tahoe to me…"

Sweet Georgia yarn, available from Jimmy Beans! Pattern coming soon!

LOVE the waves! Yep, I've been to Lake Tahoe; learned to ski there in grade school. Where did the leaves go? This definitely needs to be knit in blue and green...

It's beautiful, Romi! I especially love the lovely leaf motive, and I always love the wavy lace parts.
I did a similar shawl earlier, it's called Cameo, but yours has this special something.

I don't know how I missed Cameo. :( I am hope-hope-hoping that this one is not too similar! Cameo does seem to have different shaping. And no short rows or starting leaf.
