Scrumptious give-away!

She's done it again! I'm not sure how Carol Feller puts out so many designs, given her family and the amount of time I know she devotes to her kids. I am in awe. And not just a little jealous of her energy.
Her new booklet, entitled Scrumptious Knits, features seven new designs, all knit in Scrumptious yarns from Fyberspates: aran, dk, 4 ply, and chunky weights. Adorable Carol is on the cover, wearing her Ignus Cowl Neck Tunic.
I love the mix of projects she has here; there's something for everyone.
Of course I have my favorites. :) First, I am seriously looking forward to my first winter in the mountain climate here. I know. You are thinking I'd rather have California winters, right? But the truth is, dear readers, I hate rain. And it rained more than Portland in my last little town. Soggy mittens? No, thanks. Snowy mittens? Much better! So I am thinking I need a pair of Haruna Bobble Gloves.
I am looking forward to wearing some fun hand knits come cold weather. I think I'll get started on a little winter wardrobe now. (A girl can dream, can't she?)
I saved the best for second. I love love love this hoodie. Doesn't Carol look great in it?
The texture is what first caught my eye on Bakersville, and I am in love with the toggle closures. It also has just enough drape, thanks to the beautiful 55% merino/45% silk blend of the Scrumptious. I also like that it's knit in 4 ply weight (which is akin to a fingering weight here in the US); it's great for layering, spring, and fall. I am currently imagiknitting one for myself. In my imagination, I also look like Carol and have all her energy. If you're going to dream, you might as well dream big!
So. On to the give-away! Leave a comment on this post by Thursday, May 3, midnight PST, and I will enter you into a random drawing for a copy of this cool little booklet!
(A btw to Paula about small type size: I haven't changed the size of the font at all, but Blogger did come out with a new format. I am working on learning the ins and outs - this may be where the problem originates - but until I figure out how to hack this version of Blogger - or switch to WordPress! - you should be able to change the minimum type size shown in your browser so that you can read everything at the optimal size. HTH!) :)

You should talk about energy and creativity, woman; you're a marvel yourself!

My blog "shrunk" when Blogger changed to the new whatever, and then inexplicably enlarged back to normal. Maybe yours will return to normal again, too. Ain't change "fun"? Tell me about it; today I'm switching from my old, occasionally dying MacBook to a refurbished MacBook Pro. Sent the boy off with his dad for his own protection while I wrestle with change.

I love that hoody! And I am suffering the same issues from the changes to the blogger interface. I copy and paste my blog posts from an offline document where I write them. I fixed my font size problems by selecting the whole post and changing the font to "normal" after I pasted it into the blogger interface. HTH!

Yup, I concur, the hoodie is a required layer for fall, winter & spring layers. *grin* And those gloves are adorable -in a fashionista sort of way- a way I hope to be in oh, 5 years when I don't have to worry about whose face I have to wipe with my gloves before they depart on the school bus *grin*. (One would think I would learn to check faces before leaving to meet the bus!)
