Springy

The rain has finally stopped, the wisteria is in bloom.
The apple tree is in bloom.
And the bees are happy.
I am so thrilled to see honeybees after many years of only Carpenter bees.
All of the honey bees in this area died off several years ago. But now they're back!!!
The smell is incredible. Roses, apple blossoms, wisteria, citrus, and numerous flowering hedges. I open the window and it all comes wafting in.

I love springtime in wine country.

The photos are lovely to look at. Spring is indeed here! But, must admit my first thought was: wonder what's happening on Wisteria Lane? Gave up on Desperate Houswives several seasons ago, but when I see wisteria, that's who I think of.

Oh your spring is so much more advanced than ours! Our daffodils are only just coming into bloom now, and there is still snow on the hills.

Enjoyed reading your blog. My wisteria treein Walnut Creek CALIF is also in bloom. Mmm, is n't the smell incredible!

You took very beautiful pics. But mostly the reason I wanted to leave a comment in your blog is the bug for knitting jewelry with wire got me too, and you have a beautiful tutorial of making three earrings that I have book marked and want to do in near future.

You may see some of my knitted jewelry in my web site http://www.alankarshilpa.etsy.com.

Looking forward to know you more.Thank you so much for the valuable tutorial. Regards. Dita

In the spirit of "bring back the honeybees" we have a hive in our back yard. I could watch them for hours.
