Bitterroot!

The Winter Knitty is up! And here's another of my secret projects: Bitterroot!

There are two sizes. Shawlette:

and shawl!

The shawlette uses four skeins of Royale Hare merino/silk sport in Arctic Sky, and the large version uses my hand spun lace weight from A Verb for Keeping Warm's gorgeous silk/camel in the Glenda colorway. Hope you all enjoy it!

It's beautiful, Romi. I especially like the leaf in the corner, a little detail that actually makes a huge difference.

Yes, I opened my Knitty yesterday and went through the patterns mostly going, "Ho-hum." Then I got to this beeeee-you-ti-ful shawl. "Wow! I love that!" Then, "Oh. Of course! It's Romi's!"

I was delighted to see this in Knitty and a shawlette seems to be calling me away from Christmas duties... I am going to try hard not to start until Dec. 26th.

Another delightful shawl - what gorgeous patterns that flow together in Bitterroot. I think that your lace becomes more beautiful with every stitch you knit! Congratulations my friend.
