Report from the Summit
My friend Ba (local fiber pusher extraordinaire), who rocks like no one's business, posted the following surprise in my Ravelry group. I am touched beyond belief. Thank you, Ba! You are the BEST. It is reprinted here with her permission.

So let me tell you a little story…..
There once was a wonderful person named Rosemary (or Romi) who was going to go to Sock Summit, but decided to stay home to watch her youngest at his first swim meet (because she is an awesome mom like that…). So her badge decided to have an adventure anyway….
Romi’s Badge stayed with Karen, Royalehare
and Ba.
She set up her pins
and her patterns and yarn dyed for her by Karen.
She hung out with the High Twist Sock Yarn
(That’s “Anderson Marsh” colorway), and then explored the market.
She found Lisa Souza
and the lovely owner of A Verb for Keeping Warm (I don’t know her name. [ed note: Kristine] She totally lucked out and is right in front of the door going into the market).
She spied the Blue Moon FiberArts booth and STR yarn
She saw many anxious knitters waiting to get into the market.
Hurrying back to the booth, Romi’s Badge spied the lovely Nathania of Purlescence (though the booth is called Purl Up and Dye).
After the market opened, Therese stopped by and said hi….
After all the excitement and the heady yarn fumes, Romi’s Badge needed a lie down…
What does Romi’s Badge want to do tomorrow??

If you're at Sock Summit, stop by Royale Hare's booth (916/918), say hello to my badge and have your picture taken! I can't wait to see who my badge meets. :)
