What's in a Name?

Because honestly, I can't think of one for this scarf.

I really like the way it's turned out.

There are squares,

and hearts.

Blocking has worked its magic! What do you think I should name it?

I'm putting the pattern together now, and until February 15th, it will be free: my little Valentine's Day gift to you all! Stay tuned!

Not sure, as it doesn't sound very complex, but the first name that came into my head was "Checkered Hearts". I know, rather simple, but thought I'd give you my two cents.

That is breath-taking. I just love it. The first word that came to my mind was "Destiny." That's even before I saw the hearts.

I'd love to make this.

How about the Lovelace scarf? Once again, not terribly complicated, but fun on several levels.

I was thinking Dear Hearts, Sweet Hearts, Cubic Hearts, but I happen to like Walden's "Checkered Hearts"!

I thought of "boxed hearts" but dang I like "checkered hearts" a lot better!

And lately I've been on a scarf kick so maybe this one needs to be next on my list :)

Hmmm, maybe "Capture My Heart" or "Love Me Squared, Love Me True" scarf? Whatever it's called, it's lovely.

What a beautiful scarf! I can't wait to try it.

The only thing I thought of for a name was Heart-in-the-Box - the other suggestions are much better, though!

"My Heart in a Box"?

Gift-Wrapped Love?

I like Love Squared, also.

Another vote for "Love, Squared" or you could do "Love" with a superscript 2 (which I can't do in the comment box).

It's pretty. :-)

How about "Embrace" for the name of the scarf. Red w/ hearts and of course it's done in February. I can see that we're all leaning toward the same thoughts.

I like "love squared" or heart squared...but using a "2" in the "squared" position (what's that called). I like "Heart Beats" too.

I really, really like your scarf!

My first thought was chess board...
Not sure how that plays into a name.

I like checkered hearts -- but it has undertones of checkered past in it somehow, and we know THAT's not what you meant.

Aren't I just the helpful one.
Queen of Hearts perhaps?

How about "Windows to my Heart?" The squares remind me of the windows in the far east that you have to really look through to see what is on the other side. Just a thought.
