What's in a Name?
Because honestly, I can't think of one for this scarf.
I really like the way it's turned out.
There are squares,
and hearts.
Blocking has worked its magic! What do you think I should name it?
I'm putting the pattern together now, and until February 15th, it will be free: my little Valentine's Day gift to you all! Stay tuned!

Not sure, as it doesn't sound very complex, but the first name that came into my head was "Checkered Hearts". I know, rather simple, but thought I'd give you my two cents.
That is breath-taking. I just love it. The first word that came to my mind was "Destiny." That's even before I saw the hearts.
I'd love to make this.
How about the Lovelace scarf? Once again, not terribly complicated, but fun on several levels.
It's a Sweeetheart Scarf. What else? It is darling!
Romi, the first thought I had was "Love Squared". It's very pretty!
I was thinking Dear Hearts, Sweet Hearts, Cubic Hearts, but I happen to like Walden's "Checkered Hearts"!
Mady
It's beautiful!
I thought of "boxed hearts" but dang I like "checkered hearts" a lot better!
And lately I've been on a scarf kick so maybe this one needs to be next on my list :)
I'm quite fond of Diana's "Love Squared" as the name.
You make my heart skip???
I like the colour, and I would name it "Valentine's Day".
bye bye

How beautiful - I do like Love Squared, myself...
Hmmm, maybe "Capture My Heart" or "Love Me Squared, Love Me True" scarf? Whatever it's called, it's lovely.
What a beautiful scarf! I can't wait to try it.
The only thing I thought of for a name was Heart-in-the-Box - the other suggestions are much better, though!
"My Heart in a Box"?
Gift-Wrapped Love?
I like Love Squared, also.
Ba
Heart's Desire..... because I can't wait to start one! (No, really.... I can't wait to wear one!) It is lovely!
Barbara M.
How about "A Valentine Hug" or "Be my Valentine?"
Beautiful!!!
LisaK
How about Harlequin? I have NO idea how that came to me. It's gorgeous!
Another vote for "Love, Squared" or you could do "Love" with a superscript 2 (which I can't do in the comment box).
It's pretty. :-)
How about "Embrace" for the name of the scarf. Red w/ hearts and of course it's done in February. I can see that we're all leaning toward the same thoughts.
Lovelace? Or Love Me Sweet?
I love the name checkered hearts by Walden. The scarf is gorgeous and I can hardly wait to make one. Thank you.
Square Dance. :-)
I like Checkered Hearts the best...really cute design. It goes with the Sweetheart Glovelets from The Rainey Sisters!
Lady Lovelace
Daughter of a poet, enchantress of numbers.
Hearts & Minds!
Just bought your book - love it!
Beryl
how about Angioplasty? :P
I Heart Chess
I read "Love Squared" and couldn't move beyond it. So sweet.
I like "love squared" or heart squared...but using a "2" in the "squared" position (what's that called). I like "Heart Beats" too.
I really, really like your scarf!
Romi,
The Rainey Sisters nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award! Go to our blog to read about it!
Gorgeous!
My first thought was chess board...
Not sure how that plays into a name.
I like checkered hearts -- but it has undertones of checkered past in it somehow, and we know THAT's not what you meant.
Aren't I just the helpful one.
Queen of Hearts perhaps?
I love it! Blocking does wonders and the pattern is so pretty.
Thanks for getting the pattern ready to post, I look forward to trying this pattern out.
How about Moorish Hearts?
How about "Windows to my Heart?" The squares remind me of the windows in the far east that you have to really look through to see what is on the other side. Just a thought.
"Hearts and Flowers" ... the beautiful squares remind me of delicate small flowers
I love this!
Checkerboard Hearts
I Heart Checkers
Love Is Square
Four Corners Of Love
Whatever you call it, it's gorgeous!
it reminds me a little of a box of chocolates!
