Monday's Musing

Everyone I know is rushing around with a dozen or two last minute items to do! Including me. So here's the thought for today.

"Is everything as urgent as your stress would imply?" - Carrie Latet

Have a wonderful week, everyone! Let's all try to take a few moments to enjoy. :)

Absolutely perfect Romi.

I almost (wish I were exaggerating) got run over in the crosswalk at the Michael's yesterday picking up the dogs at the groomer. The van barely managed to stop in time.

Let's just say the entire parking lot learned some new words. Sigh.

No parking space is so important you have to run people over to get to it.

Happy Holidays honey. Hugs to you and yours.

Too true. It amazes me how, in what's supposed to be the most joyous season of the year, people are ruder than ever!

Ah well...

Snowbound here since Friday afternoon...that definitely slows down the stress. With a foot of snow in the drive and just one snow shovel between us and all our neighbors -- we aren't going anywhere soon! So what's not done, isn't going to get done -- so be it.

I'm working on a scarf and have already told myself ... "what's knit by the end of this evening is all that I'm doing." It'll be just long enough, LOL and gets wrapped on Christmas morning. All other wrapping happens on Christmas Eve.

Oh wait, have to finish one other gift for Saturday ... but I'm not going to stress it 'coz it's not the only gift she's getting & can wait. See ... stress free.

This is a great quote. I find it amazing how stressed out folks get this time of year! Mostly I hide and wait for it to be over. Yesterday we had our usual Chinese carry out and thoroughly enjoyed the empty streets of our neighborhood. Sometimes it is good not to be like everyone else!

Hoping your holiday was stressfree!

A brilliant thought to keep in mind - particularly this time of year.

All the best for 2009!
