Monday's Musing

"Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same." - Francesca Reigler

I try to remember this. :) Have a wonderful week everyone!

I agree with the premise, but I think it ultimately uses more energy to be miserable!

Thank you! I get so exasperated by people who wait for "something" to make them happy. Happiness is a choice, not an event.

I struggle with this everyday. I have heard that even if you don't feel like it smiling can release the same endorphins as if you are really happy.

I have been up to the usual things, but I have felt insecure about writing the last little while. I check in now and then, but I have been a background figure. I also felt guilty about not knitting anything in a while. I was worried I couldn't keep my credentials.

I hope you are well and my heart goes out to you over the recurrent memories of losing a loved one. I am reminded everyday of the people I loved and lost. They shape who we are and it makes sense that we see them everyday in ourselves and the loved ones around us. Be well.
