More about those earrings
I took a few pics for everyone of the earrings I was wearing on Stephanie's blog. (And because I love these earrings.)

They may be my very favorite project in the book!

They use rose quartz nuggets and silver plated or sterling silver wire.

The wire is knit around a frame that you form first. I particularly love

that until you see them up close,

You can't tell they are knitted.
It's your little secret. :)
People are still asking if I intend to sell them. So far, I don't think I will. We'll see though. But you can make your own! And I may even post a few tutorials when the book comes out.

I'm so glad that we're getting sneak peaks at the jewelry. I'm not going to lie, I really thought that knitted jewelry sounded like something I wouldn't be interested in at all, until I saw the necklace and earrings. They're modern and stylish!
I wonder if I really can make a pair! They're gorgeous, Rosemary.
They are beautiful Romi! I'll definitely be purchasing your book--can't wait until it's out!
Lovely earrings, but I actually dropped by to tell how much I LOVE the waves of grain pattern on Knitty, and when I found out the designer practically lives next door to me, I had to come over and compliment you on it. I haven't actually started it yet, but I have the pefect yarn all set aside for it, and plan to make a trip to the bead store one of these days. I'll keep you posted on my progess (don't hold your breath, I'm a SLOW knitter) and if you like I can even send a pic. I enjoyed your pics of the Yarn Harlot, unfortunately I was not able to attend due to some serious jet lagging going on.
Those are gorgeous. I can't wait to see your book!
Thanks a lot, Romi! I mean, I was already waiting for your book and now I'm REALLY waiting for your book! I bet, too, that the photographs in your book will blow me away! Love, love those earrings!

Can you tell me when your book will be available? I looked on Amazon and found the book but no date. Your jewelry is absolutely gorgeous.
I ordered the book today. These are wonderful.
Am working right now on my first Venezia, but working it as a ponytail holder.
Thank you for the wonderful patterns.
Wow, you really can't tell they're knitted. Beautiful.
Those are just gorgeous! Can't wait for the book to come out. :)
