Monday's Musing

With so much uncertainty and, well, fear, abounding, I thought these quotes would make for good musings.

"Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood." - Marie Curie

"Fear is a darkroom where negatives develop." - Usman B. Asif

"There is a time to take counsel of your fears, and there is a time to never listen to any fear." - George S. Patton

Edited to add from Yarnhog: "This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." - FDR (from his first inaugural address, in the middle of the Great Depression.)

May you and yours be safe, healthy and well fed, and may you all prosper. As I've been reminded so many times: this too shall pass.

I think I'll go pet my stash now. :)

Have a great week, everyone!

But you left out the most famous "fear" quote of all: "This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." (From FDR's first inaugural address, in the middle of the Great Depression.)

I find petting the stash and petting the rabbits to be comforting.
