Now that you mention it, they have me on the list till June .....hopefully nothing will happen and they won't call me.

I've been called twice a year for the past eight years. I've always had a legitimate excuse. I'd love to be seated on a jury, but I'm a lawyer, so it would probably never happen anyway.

Okay that is NOT good. I'm on call for it this week, but haven't had to go in yet.

Crochet. Crochet. Crochet.

We are in different states, but when I had JD the paper said the same thing - no knitting needles - and yet teh first day someone was there knitting. I took my needles with me the second day - no problem. When you are selected for a jury, they will have a separate room for you to keep personal items locked away. I say - go for it!

Luckily, I got excused today! Thank goodness because I'd hate to sit on a jury while in my third trimester. And I've heard it's no knitting needles or crochet hooks in any court house. Seems a bit odd, really. How much more damage can you do with a plastic needle than you can with a mechanical pencil?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...I guess I won't be calling you tonight to sneak you out for a knit session. DANG!!!

No Knitting? Cruel and unusual punishment.

NO KNITTING NEEDLES?!

They'd need to seat another jury for what would happen if they tried to take mine away.
