It's growing!


Slowly but surely...

It's too big now to pin the whole thing out, so we are just looking at one side as it grows from the center panel.

I cannot wait to block it and see how it looks! :)

I want to pat and stroke the shinyness of it. I am also hideously afraid of giant lace projects. I am convinced that all serious lace knitters must have made a pact with a devil to create such intricate designs---with mistakes!

Delicate, soft, lovely--it's STUNNING! And would go perfectly with a silver shawl pin with, say, an amethyst.

This looks absolutely wonderful. Now I don't know whether to start the Muir from Knitty or hold out for this one! :) Am very partial to the Faroese style myself.
