Obsessed?

Perhaps. But look at my pretty new yarn!

From another angle:

and yet another.

This is just too much fun. I did the above yarn yesterday. Today, I experimented with a lighter weight, but pictures will have to wait. I have a little of one of the plies left over. I think I'll try Navajo plying. Just because. :g:

My husband is looking for pattern specs for a spinning wheel. Uh-oh.

You WERE a spinner in another life! That stuff is perfect. Good for you, Rosemary! Spinning wheels are great things. Buy one, and have your husband make another--there's always need for more than one...:)

The yarn you're making looks wonderful, like you've done this before... ; )
Perhaps I can tempt you with some lovely 'Pacific Amber" superwash merino top.....bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha......like spinning the sunrise....

Somewhere on line there are plans for spinning wheels, or I can advise you on a purchase...maybe a field trip to Carolina Homespun?? Mmmmm??

Welcome to the wonderful world of playing with fiber (not just yarn)....

It looks great! The biggest challenge of spinning for me is USING the yarn rather than just admiring it. LOL!
