Monday's Musing

I needed this one today. Often when I haven't quite been taking care of myself the way I should, I get anxiety attacks. I always have to remind myself that it isn't because of anything that's happening; it's just that I haven't been doing the things I need to do to feel peaceful and calm. Breathe....

I just read this a couple of days ago in a book I'm reading about Buddhism. I know nothing about Buddhists, so imagine my surprise at finding that I am one.

As always, a wonderful, thoughtful, perfect quote. :-) I'm totally with you on the anxiety overwhelm, but I also get a liberal dosing of depression with it. Stretching and breathing are SO important - especially when we don't think we have time to do it!
