Monday's Musing

An apt quote for all of us who fear failure:

"Failure doesn't mean you are a failure... it just means you haven't succeeded yet." - Robert Schuller

Have a fabulous week of successes! :)

  1. I tell my kids, "You haven't failed until you stop trying." I also repeat to them (ad nauseum) Thomas Edison's famous words when asked about his failure to produce a filament for his incandescent lamp: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." (Yeah, they're going to have some really fond memories of me, I'm sure!)

  2. I really like that! If you don't have "failures/non-successes" it means you are playing it safe and not taking chances. How boring would life be if we all played it safe? Phooey on that!

  3. Can you be successful at failing?

I sure could use a week of successes. I always tell everyone else, "you can do it," and I mean it. Sometimes I forget to tell myself that. Thanks for the reminder.
